Otter Cliffs (before the Fog)
I was inspired to find this vantage point after seeing drawings rendered by Rose Lamb, in 1869, and Harry Fenn, in 1872. I nestled in a crevasse to shelter from the sun and painted this piece exclusively with oil paint and a palette knife. Fog rolled in and covered with sea as I was finishing the painting.
